Anya Volz is a New York City-based comedy artist originally born in Vermont. She has received praise from males across America for her comedy, described as humorous but not preachy. Half English and half Spanish they are the daughters of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four of them are born from her father's previous marriage. The family she grew up with was within Buenos Aires from the time she was six years old until the time they relocated into Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy shared that her transfer was difficult, and she refused to learn English because she hoped to be able to return to Argentina.
